Insights — Pricing the work
How much does ongoing social media content cost?
The cost depends on who owns planning, the number and complexity of formats, the content rhythm, copy requirements, review rounds, production inputs, platform adaptations, and whether publishing or paid ads are included. A useful proposal shows the work behind the fee—not only a number of posts.

Why price per post can mislead
Two posts can require radically different work. One may adapt an established template; another may require research, a new campaign idea, copy, original assets, several formats, and regulated approval. A low per-post number may also leave all planning with the customer.
Start by comparing responsibility and workload, then compare quantities.
What determines the fee
- Planning ownership — whether the provider develops the ongoing ideas or waits for briefs.
- Formats and complexity — posts, carousels, Stories, motion, video, and adaptations require different production.
- Content rhythm — the volume and frequency of regular output.
- Priority flexibility — how changing business needs share delivery capacity.
- Copy and research — captions, subject research, claims, and approvals.
- Production inputs — photography, stock, talent, music, and licensing.
- Review process — concepts, decision-makers, and revision rounds.
- Additional operations — publishing, community management, analytics, or paid ads.
What a quotation should show
- Deliverables, formats, channels, and content rhythm.
- Who develops ideas and who supplies factual input.
- Lead times, approval points, and revisions.
- How priority changes are handled.
- Ownership and responsibilities.
- Separate costs such as shoots, licensing, tools, and media spend.
How to judge value
Measure whether the arrangement removes the workload you actually struggle with, produces content the business can use, responds to real priorities, and remains dependable over time. Thirty generic assets may offer less value than a smaller, relevant rhythm that somebody is accountable for planning.
How Kalind Works sets the price
After a short introduction, we provide a written scope showing the regular output, formats, channels, approval process, priority-update model, responsibilities, and fee before you commit. We do not publish invented universal ranges because the right scope still requires founder approval and differs by business.
